Ukraine’s Air Force said Russia launched 135 drones overnight, 52 of them jet-powered, and that 125 were shot down.
At least five people were killed and 30 injured in Russian attacks across Ukraine over the past day, local authorities said, as reported by the Kyiv Independent. In Sumy, a drone hit a warehouse storing medical supplies, killing a 52-year-old employee and injuring three others; the Sumy region counted at least three dead and 16 injured in all. Two people were killed in the Kharkiv region. In Dnipro, a strike on a communications facility injured six, the Kyiv Post reported.
