ICRC told the board about bodies and family links. UNICEF’s No. 3 is the children’s column of the same open ledger: hundreds of unaccompanied or separated kids, child deaths inside a four-digit national toll, and a separate nine-figure ask that is nowhere near filled.

UNICEF’s SitRep No. 3 adds what that note could not: among 84,270 people in need, 32,021 are children; authorities still count 1,356 dead with at least 85 of them children and 4,994 missing; 541 children are unaccompanied or separated, with only 18 reunited so far. Holding centres in Nuwakot, Rasuwa, and Dhading still shelter thousands. Forty-six water systems, twenty-three schools, and seven clinics are damaged.
