Watchers, September 17: early on the 16th, floodwaters near Newcomb take two adults and a juvenile. CEM says one family, Northern Agency. Council language also names Toadlena and Two Grey Hills. The Nation-wide emergency for monsoon damage was already in force (CEM 26-004, 15 Sep). Police, fire, EMS, and K-9 worked the water. Desk boards the Navajo authority stamps as Watchers cites them.

Why it matters
